Monday, June 28th, 2004 3:01 pm Beginning to Hate MicroSoft again... Why you ask? Wasn't I going to enjoy an X-Box after the last update? I was, and I did, it was kinda cool, and I had some great fun. I will go through some of the good news first. I brought 9 games. Deus Ex 2 Halo (I already have it for the PC, but I wanted Multiplayer on one consule) Burnout 2 Tao Feng Mech Assault Splinter Cell 2 Ninja Gaiden DOA Extreme Volley Ball Panza Dragoon Otra. I also had 5 controllers ( I ordered one in before I got it, then the crystal came with 2, and I brought another so I could play four player Halo, more about that later, then, later next week I brought Panza Dragoon, and it came with a free controller...) I even have the Live Starter kit ready for when the Cable Modem Broadband is instuelled. And most of the games were pretty cool. I also got Disgaea for the PS2, which is a groovy game too. I have so many games to play I played some hardly at all yet. However, I am currently unable to play 9 of my games. Why?
My X-Box has broken down after just a little over a week.
It will be fixed, free of charge, and it was just picked up today (though I did ring up on Thursday), however, when it broke down, the machine was making a noise like it was stratching a disc, and it was still making the noise, with no game disc. What other disc could there be? Well the X-Box has a Hard Drive... ... My Save Files are on that Hard Drive... .......................................... .... I think I have lost all my save files. I am not certain, but that's how it sounded to me. But here's a really stupid thing I've learnt about the X-Box. You could say, I should of backed up my save on a Memory Card, though that is unfair, since you don't expect it to die in a week, though I have also discovered Some Games Do Not Allow You To Use the Memory card to save, like Ninja Gaiden I think...
That is not all though...
Most of the exams went poorly for me. I am quite worried about them. I do not even know what will happen if I have failed them.
Oh well, this Are starting to be arranged for things... Like this very Journal (or if you are reading this on my main page, go to the link below...) Also I have started to set up my Keenspot account, and when it is fully active, I will start moving my comic there. And I have ordered the faster connection for my Online gaming, including for my X-Box (or for when that returns, but it has plenty of time, since the faster connection won't be set up till July the 12th...)
Anyway... hopefully things will be getting better now...
